Research

I am an applied statistician, mathematician. I have previously worked in many applied areas including geostatistics and medicine. Currently, the main area of application is genetics (forensic genetics, population genetics, linkage analysis, association analysis).

Software

Familias: A program for probability calculations when inferring paternity and identification based on DNA data. The familias project and software has been a main interest in cooperation with Petter Mostad (original paper) and more recently also Daniel Kling.

 

Fest: An R package for identification of family relations using linked markers (Skare, Sheehan, Egeland, 2009)
